Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) removes hair follicles individually from the donor area using a micro-punch, then implants them where hair has thinned. Because grafts are taken one by one, FUE leaves no linear scar and allows a faster return to daily life than older strip methods.
Is this treatment right for you?
Suitable for:adults with stable hair loss and a healthy donor area.
Less ideal if:loss is still progressing rapidly or the donor area is limited.
Suitability can only be confirmed by a qualified clinician after assessing you, which is why every plan begins with a free, personalised review rather than a fixed promise.
Process & recovery
FUE is a single-day procedure under local anaesthetic. Mild redness and scabbing settle within 7–10 days; transplanted hairs shed at 2–4 weeks, which is normal, with growth from 3–4 months and fuller results by 12–18 months. Risks include swelling, temporary numbness, folliculitis and, rarely, infection or uneven density.
This is general information, not a complete list of risks. Please read our medical disclaimer and discuss your individual circumstances with a clinician.
